CORONAVIRUS MEASURES AT THE COWSHED WORKSHOP WITH GILL BRIDGESTOCK’S BEGINNER COPPER AND PEWTER WORKSHOPS
I am delighted that the beginner jewellery workshops are now ready - subject to Covid19 guidelines and any changes.
It will not be business as usual to begin with. The tuition I am able to offer may be different to that which you received before, it will take some time before services return to what you previously experienced as normal.
Having undertaken a thorough review of the studio Seren has put a number of measures in place to ensure that both tutors and students are as safe as possible.
What is being done to minimise the risks?
Every surface including workbenches, tools and equipment will be cleaned regularly and wiped with an appropriate sanitiser between each use
Group class sizes are reduced to a maximum of 4 participants, with visors provided
Teaching will be managed to allow for social distancing as much as possible within the space. Gill will wear a face shield and asks that
all students wear the visors provided.
Work gloves are provided, these will be either new or laundered.
Students will only be able to use the tools provided for them at their work station. Gill will provide you with anything else you might need.
What is required from you
It is requested that if you use the loo you are asked that essential areas are wiped with antibacterial cleaner provided.
Please use the hand sanitiser provided upon entering the workshop
Please do not arrive too early for your lesson.
Please provide your own mask for use on arrival
Please bring your own apron and wear long sleeves and sensible shoes i.e. no open toes.
Please bring any drinks with you(Non-alcoholic of course!)as beverages are no longer available.
Please bring your own mug/cup with you and any special milk you have in your tea/coffee which you must also bring or use what is there at your own risk.
Please do not help clear up at the end of the day, Gill will clean and sanitise everything before packing it all away.
PLEASE NOTE
In the event of the Cowshed Workshop closing due to a second wave, another government directive or a positive test from one of the tutors or customers, students will be offered a voucher to the value of the remaining amount due, valid for 1 year from date of closure.
If you think you may have the virus, the Cowshed Workshop ask that you keep us updated by emailing gillbridgestock@gmail.com
Please sign below to say you have read and agree with the above and bring with you on the day of the workshop.
Many thanks!
